CNHED members develops strategies to address the most important affordable housing and economic development issues facing the District. We are an active and growing coalition, with a track record of great success in our community development efforts.

With 55 organizational members at its inception in 2000, CNHED’s membership has more than doubled to over 140 members today.

The reason is clear:

    • CNHED has been highly successful in its advocacy, training, communications, and general support of its members.
    • CNHED  is a unifying voice and representative of the community development sector.

CNHED members are active in our working groups, policy research, Housing For All Campaign, attending our monthly meetings and trainings, and in speaking out to and being heard by DC government officials. Each member is part of the coalition both to strengthen its own work and to strengthen the coalition overall.

You can join as an individual or extend benefits to everyone on your staff by joining as an organization. Our dues our very affordable, so we encourage those with the available resources to consider joining as Corporate Partners to help sustain the work that we do.
